Gujarat Confidential: Grand gesture

Senior Gujarat minister Rushikesh Patel recently lost his mother, Kamalaba, at the age of 86. In his mother’s memory, the minister has planted 86 Peepal saplings at a park in Visnagar, his home town and constituency. Patel has also resolved to cultivate the 86 trees. Former deputy chief minister Nitin Patel who was also present during the occasion, called the initiative as “worth following” by others.
